Meet James

With more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry, James Griffis brings decades of hands-on knowledge and craftsmanship to East Anchor Home Improvement.

James began his career working primarily in custom home construction, where he developed an appreciation for the details that turn a project into something a homeowner is genuinely proud of. That experience shaped the way he still approaches his work today: listen to what the customer wants, pay attention to the details, and take the time to do the job right.

From 2005 to 2017, James owned and operated his own home improvement business in Northern Virginia, spending more than a decade working directly with homeowners on renovations, repairs, improvements, and custom projects.

He later transitioned into commercial construction, expanding his experience while continuing to build on the skills and craftsmanship developed throughout his career.

Now, James is bringing that experience back to what he has always enjoyed most: working directly with homeowners and helping bring their ideas for their homes to life.

East Anchor Home Improvement was built around the values that have guided his work for more than three decades: quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, honest communication, and doing the work the way it should be done.

For James, a successful project isn't simply one that's finished. It's one that's completed with care and reflects what the homeowner envisioned from the beginning.
